Shipping

All orders are shipped via USPS media mail to the address you provide. Orders may take seven (7) business days or longer to be fulfilled. You will receive a tracking number with confirmation that the order has shipped. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please get in touch at riverglassbooks@gmail.com to inquire about your order. 

Returns, Refunds

We aim to create books that honor the quality of the writing and hard work of the writer, and we strive to use the finest materials and employ sustainable practices whenever possible. We would not be here without the incredible talent and trust of our writers and big-hearted support of the writing community. If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your order, please let us know right away via email to riverglassbooks@gmail.com, and we will replace or refund your order. 

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please read below to see how we use and protect the information you provide when you visit and use our website. 

Information that is gathered from visitors

  • In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor’s IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit.
  • Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website.
  • Where registration is required, the visitor’s email and a username will be stored on the server.
  • Order information, including shipping address, billing address, and phone number (if provided) are stored on the server. We do not store or have access to credit card information, which is only used at the time of purchase to process the transaction.

How the Information is used

  • E-mail or post may be sent to inform you of news of our services or offers by us or our affiliates.
  • River Glass Books does not sell, rent, or lease personal information to 3rd parties.

Security

  • We use SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer / Transfer Layer Security) to encrypt information that visitors access and send on our website(s). SSL / TLS Certificates are kept current to validate the security of our client’s connection to the server, email communication, and any information sent through forms on our website(s).

Visitor Options

  • If you have subscribed to one of our services, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions which are included in e-mail that you receive. Currently, we don’t have a newsletter, though one is in the works!)
  • You may be able to block cookies via your browser settings but this may prevent you from access to certain features of the website.

Cookies

  • Cookies are small digital signature files that are stored by your web browser that allow your preferences to be recorded when visiting the website. Also they may be used to track your return visits to the website.
  • 3rd party advertising companies may also use cookies for tracking purposes.

Google Ads

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads.
  • Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to sites they visit on the Internet.
  • Website visitors may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
